On August 20, 2022, the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Huishang Summit was grandly held at The Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou. Over 300 participants, including government officials from Guangdong and Anhui, renowned experts and scholars, representatives of entrepreneurs from Anhui, members of the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce, and media representatives, gathered together to celebrate this grand event.


A key agenda item of this summit was the inauguration ceremony of the Education Professional Committee under the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce (hereafter referred to as the "Education Committee"). The event was attended by numerous distinguished leaders and experts, including:
Wang Chichang, former Director of the Office of Student Affairs under the Ministry of Education and Vice Chairman of the Association of University Graduate Employment;
Sun Xiaobing, National Inspector of Education and former Director of the Department of Policies and Regulations under the Ministry of Education;
Wang Heling, former Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former Vice Chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the CPPCC;
Wang Guojian, former President of South China Normal University;
Yang Yongbi, former Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau;
Hua Tongxu, former Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau.
Additionally, Academician Tang Tao, a computational mathematician and fellow of both the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the European Academy of Sciences, sent a video message to congratulate the establishment of the committee due to pandemic-related restrictions.

The Education Committee was chaired by Mr. Luo Hailang, Executive President of the Chamber and Chairman of Great Man Education. Chairman Luo expressed gratitude to the numerous education-focused leaders, experts, and enterprises who actively contributed to the establishment of the committee, each fulfilling their roles for the benefit of education. He affirmed his commitment to collaborate with distinguished figures across various fields under the spirit of the summit—"Building Together, Integrating Together, Striving Together"—by leveraging the committee as a service-oriented platform to bridge, connect, and integrate educational resources both within and beyond the chamber, thereby promoting the healthy development of enterprises in the education sector.


In his address as Senior Advisor of the Education Committee, Wang Chichang, former Director of the Office of Student Affairs under the Ministry of Education, expressed profound honor in his dual capacity as "both an honorary Anhui native and a veteran education professional." He noted with great pleasure that the Anhui Chamber of Commerce has gathered a group of educational enterprises with strong sense of responsibility and deep commitment to education, and the establishment of this specialized committee will further contribute to the advancement of the education sector. He expressed confidence that through the Huishang community's development in the Greater Bay Area, collaboration and exchanges between Guangdong and Anhui in education, technology, and culture will be significantly enhanced. He concluded by extending congratulations to the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce and its Education Committee, wishing them continued success and greater achievements.


In his address, Sun Xiaobing, National Inspector of Education and former Director of the Department of Policies and Regulations under the Ministry of Education, extended his congratulations on the complete success of the 2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Huishang Summit and the establishment of the Education Professional Committee under the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce. He encouraged the Chamber to continue bringing honor to the Huishang community and contributing to the nation's glory.

As their hands touched the button, an e-book slowly unfolded on screen, formally announcing the establishment of the Education Professional Committee under the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce. This visual metaphor marked the opening of a new chapter for the Committee and heralded a fresh journey for educational exchange and development between Guangdong and Anhui.


At the celebratory banquet, glasses were raised in a toast. Hua Tongxu, former Director of the Guangzhou Municipal Education Bureau, presented plaques to the Executive President units of the Education Committee—Greatman Education Group and Qichen Education Group. He expressed high expectations for the Committee, urging it to take on the mission of advancing the education sector and to develop into an influential industry platform with recognized brand impact.


Gathering the spirit of Huishang merchants, we pioneer a golden age for Guangdong and Anhui. Wang Wenyin, Founding President of the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Zhenwei International Group; Lü Xiangyang, Chairman of Guangzhou Rongjie Investment Management Group and Vice Chairman & Non-Executive Director of BYD Company Limited; along with Zhang Hao, Executive President of the Chamber, raised their glasses in a joint toast to celebrate the complete success of the summit.
