Education Professional Committee of Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce

Established in 2022, the Education Professional Committee of Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce is chaired by Mr. Luo Hailang, Chairman of Great Man Education Group, as its inaugural Executive President.

The Committee serves as a platform that:

• Connects through education as the bond

• Integrates educational resources from Anhui fellow professionals

• Facilitates collaboration among government agencies, universities, and educational institutions

Background

In June 2012, with strong support from the leadership of Anhui and Guangdong provinces as well as various sectors of society, the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce was established. It was initiated by 16 prominent Anhui-originated enterprises operating in Guangdong, including Amer International Group  and BYD Co., Ltd.

The Chamber has appointed distinguished honorary presidents including:

• Mr. Wang Zhongyu: Former Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and President of China Enterprise Confederation (CEC)/China Enterprise Directors Association (CEDA)

• Mr. Chen Jinhua: Former Vice Chairman of the CPPCC

• Mr. Lu Rongjing: Former Secretary of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China

Prominent business leaders serving as honorary presidents comprise:

• Mr. Ma Weihua: Former Vice President of CEC and ex-Chairman of China Merchants Bank

• Mr. Wang Chuanfu: Chairman & President of BYD Co., Ltd.

• Ms. Dong Mingzhu: Chairperson of Gree Electric Appliances Inc.

• Mr. Lü Xiangyang: Chairman of Guangzhou Rongjie Investment Group

• Mr. Wang Wenyin, Chairman of Fortune Global 500 company Amer International Group, serves as the Chamber's inaugural President.

In 2024, the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce was honored as one of "China's Top 50 Most Influential Chambers of Commerce" in Forbes China's prestigious ranking.This recognition came after large-scale research and evaluation that focused on three critical dimensions:Influence/Economic Strength/Social Responsibility. The selection highlights the Chamber's leadership in cross-regional business collaboration and its commitment to sustainable development.

To rich its service functions, the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce established its Education Professional Committee under the joint initiative of Mr. Luo Hailang, Chairman of Great Man Education Group, and other leading education enterprises.

Responsibilities of the Education Professional Committee

As a service-oriented platform under the Guangdong Anhui Chamber of Commerce, the Education Professional Committee operates under the supervision and guidance of the Chamber’s Council. It is committed to:

• Resource Integration: Consolidating education, cultural, and sci-tech innovation resources in the Greater Bay Area (GBA)

• Cross-Regional Collaboration: Facilitating education and innovation exchanges between Guangdong and Anhui

• Dialogue & Engagement: Establishing communication mechanisms through the Chamber’s network; Organizing study tours and exchange programs for educators, scholars, and youth across Guangdong, Anhui, Hong Kong, and Macao

• Industry-Academia Partnerships: Promoting school-enterprise collaboration to deepen industry-academia-research integration

Preschool Education Industry-Academia-Research Professional Committee of Guangdong Human Resources Research Association

Established in 2023, the Preschool Education Industry-Academia-Research Professional Committee held its inaugural conference on July 8, bringing together over 100 experts, scholars, and industry leaders from Guangdong's education and business sectors. Attendees witnessed the committee's founding, participated in academic discussions, and collaborated on early childhood education development strategies. Ms. Zhang Yujiao, Vice President of Great Man Education Management Institute, was elected as the committee's first-term Deputy Director.
